Hi, just a quick question for a friend. What are the chances of getting into tauheedul boys high school if you are NOT a member of the mosque? I mean anyone have any idea what percentage of pupils are outside the mosque membership?

Call and ask.

missnini · 08/10/2019 13:05

Yes the call was made to the school. However they said we cannot give that information.

Are you a journo? Seems like an odd first post on behalf of a “friend”. Their website says it is inclusive and open to all faiths. No mention of being a member of a mosque.

A journalist would have a better command of English, @Milomonster. Sounds to me like the OP is an immigrant trying to find something out, which seems fair enough to me.

Your response seems a bit harsh.

They or the LA should publish 3 years worth of historical offer data showing how many were offered places for each of the categories in the admission criteria.

eg documents.hants.gov.uk/childrens-services/SecondaryData2018.pdf for Hampshire.

So i think you need to ask for the previous years admission info, not % of the school not attending a certain mosque.

OP. Does this link help? www.blackburn.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/school-appeals/secondary-school-admission-appeals-September

Boys school looks hopeful, girls less so.
