Moving Independent Schools

Dd has just started senior school and has a 95% bursary. We are on benefits though I work part time. She scored 120,120,117 on her y6 SATs and 139(A) in her MidYIS. Ds is in y12 and ideally I would like to move nearer my elder married daughters when he leaves his private school. I was wondering how easy it is to join another private school on a bursary - dd would be in year 9 or whether it would be safer to leave her there and not move?

Can you talk to the current head and ask what your options are for senior school? I'm assuming this is a prep school. Few preps offer bursaries so they must have a system in place to help those moving on.

Its a senior school - it has a junior school that takes pupils from the pre-prep. Bursaries are only on offer from y7, that's why dd has only just started there. Her two big sisters went there (without a bursary) and then to Cambridge so that probably helped her get a bursary. I will ask the head next year, I just wanted to see if it was feasible. Thanks
