Hi all, wondering if there's a thread for people applying to conservatoires for music at the moment?
DS(17) has just sent his application off last night, though unfortunately we will have to ask his music teacher to send his "practical" reference on to each of the conservatoires later (hopefully soon! - apparently this should be OK as long as they get it before the end of October, but I'm hoping we can get it sorted this week)
But at least the application is in - applying to four for trumpet - and they do have the school reference and DS personal statement so between them I think those cover quite a lot
Anyone else applying at the moment (I think the deadline for applications is today, October 1st, at 6pm)
Hows it all going? And where is your DC applying to?
Have you been for any visits? - DS has visited a couple and they were both very helpful and quite encouraging
Royal Welsh and Birmingham - so I think those are his favourites and the ones he's most hopeful about.
