Applying to Secondary School - Reasons??

Applying for a secondary school place for my child. First choice is a grammar and awaiting 11+ results. On the application you are given space to list your reasons - does everyone fill this out (it's optional) and of so what do you write?

You don't need to write anything.
It is there because it has to be there but it isn't looked at unless you mention something that puts you into a higher category without realising it. e.g. 'I want this as my foster child already attends' when you haven't ticked the sibling link because you didn't realise a foster child counts as a sibling for admissions purposes.
Useful for social or medical reasons perhaps, not for saying 'this is a good school and I liked the drama studios'.

Thank you, I thought I was going to need to write like a statement like when you apply for uni!
