Tiffin Chromebooks?

Someone told me the other day that Tiffin School require all students to have a certain type of Chromebook. Do they provide them or do you have to buy them? Also what model is it exactly?

I'm asking because I'm looking to buy DC a new laptop, and as he's thinking of applying to Tiffin Sixth Form it would make sense for me to check out what model they use.

Probably best to ask the school this one as what is policy now, may not be next year. Only the school will be able to advise

Their website just says they're moving everyone onto Chromebooks, and their online shop sells covers for them, but not the Chromebooks themselves. It doesn't sound like a policy that's going to change any time soon (not after all that kit has been bought).

Yes you have to buy them. You can buy one through the school although you don't have to. We bought an ASUS from the school for £269. But we were told that they are for Y7-Y10 only. So for 6th form you might not need one.

Thanks @muchamuchas, do you know what the specification is?
