Hi I have been following the GCSE thread and asked a few times if any posters from Northern Ireland as they do bulk off GCSE in year 12 and different exam board would like support through the GCSE for my self and my dd.
How much study they do.
Do they give up activities to concentrate on exams.

In Northern Ireland we call it year 12 but it is the equivalent of year 11 in England/ Wales, ie children are 15 turning 16.

Our exam board is CCEA... but some schools do some subjects under different (English and Welsh) boards.

Apart from that, it should be the same as in England.....
