Camden School for Girls/St Marylebone/Parli/Haverstock etc

Trying to work out hte best state secondary school (Y5 now). The two best seem to be CSG and St M, but wondering what the view was on all the North London state options? Henrietta Barnett is a different thing I think. What is the best state North London girls/mixed secondary?

Yes, but still not as expensive as house prices near CSG.

Oh god I'm so embarrassed about the ironyectomy I've clearly gone through that meant that I thought someone was seriously suggesting Beacon High as a lure to North London.

Mind you one of my daughter's friends lived right next to CSG and chose Holloway in favour of it as wanted co-ed.

St. M is an excellent choice. Fantastic head, really committed teachers and great pastoral care. Only downside is the building could be more spacious.

Go to visit as many schools as you can. You'll get a sense of the place, the vibe etc, and meet some of the pupils.
