BAL - bursary application - what to expect from home visit

I am filling out application. I would like to ask in case of home visit by BAL - what do they usually look at - do they go around the house/ inside the rooms? go into the garden? Thank you

When we had ours, they just came and sat in my kitchen and had a chat about our financial position. It was all very friendly and low-key. They just want to make sure that you really live where you say you do and that your financial circumstances are as described.

Everything, they look at everything.
Through the undies drawers looking for hidden jewellry etc etc
