If so how hard do you push your kids to achieve the best results in the school (how many hours do your kids spend studying/revising)? Also what techniques do you use? What are your kids allowed/not allowed to do?

I'm quite tigerish by UK standards, although I'm sure by true Chinese Tiger Mother standards I'm a wimp. Screen time is strongly limited - it comes after study, extra curricular activities, chores, just about everything else. They have high target grades which helps, and are expected to achieve them, the amount of study they do depends on what they need to do to get these grades. Lots of emphasis on working hard and giving stuff your best shot, importance of practise, reworking stuff to improve it, blah, blah, blah. Also lots of chances to try stuff, develop passions etc
There is very little they are not allowed to do, more that certain things must be done before free time happens.
