So, if money were no object and you had an amazingly clever child who was sporty and musical (and would therefore get into any school they wanted) where would you choose?

If you have an amazingly clever, sporty, or musical child you don't need to have money, then gain bursaries and sponsorship, or even government funding.
You can make the fantasy a reality by doing your homework.

You still need a certain level of affluence though. There were lots of such children at dd's school, there on a government scholarship but apart from a couple who were lucky enough to live in the local area the rest of the government funded children still had to have parents who were able to afford the travel twice a term (and take Fridays off work) to collect them for exeat weekends etc. They did get uniform, specialist equipment etc funded through.
