Graveney Form Groups

Hi
Is anyone familiar with how the Graveney Tutor groups work? DS is starting in September and has been told his tutor group but just curious as to what the lettering means and how that equates to the set he might have been put in. Are there any Graveney parents out there that know how the groups are lettered?

The lettering is random

Changes every year, sorry! DS will know soon enough after starting anyway.

One thing that I didn't fully understand is that streams are kept very separate in terms of tuition, and setting for the maths is only within each stream. No setting for any other subject, only streaming.

Yup. Graveney has the most extreme setting ever - the kids are very firmly kept apart according to ability, no mixing.

If your child got in by test, s/he is likely to be in extension, upper at most.

Depending on Wandsworth test / sats - you can work it out.
