So ds is at independent school where total headcount is 900. Went to see Esher today as needed a back up As he isn’t very focused and messed up end of year exams. Didn’t think he’d like it but he does and probably does more subjects than his traditional school so a good fit
The issue for me is that they only have 12 hours of lessons a week leaving way too much time for him to manage himself (his big downfall is organisation and gaming ) I fear he will sleep in late and game all day and fo very little else. Any first hand experience of how the kids manage all that free time ? In theory love that it’s a stepping stone to independence but in reality is it ?
