Wondering if anyone can help. Considering this small independent school in Worcestershire for my dyslexic 11 year old who goes into yr 7 in Sept. Have heard they are good at helping dyslexic children. His self esteem is low and getting more and more behind and don't think he would get the help he needs at the local high school. Just lost faith in the state system a little as son has been officially diagnosed as dyslexic a year ago and is getting 3 intervention sessions a week but they are not helping at all. Anybody with DC at Bowbrook House?

I think you might want to get this moved from pregnancy into a different section. I have a colleague who went there and know of more recent pupils too. However for dyslexia I would look at Bredon which is dyslexia specialist and just across the border in Gloucestershire.

Hi OP, we're going to move this thread over to our Secondary Education topic - hopefully there'll be a few more Mumsnetters on hand to give you some advice.
