Toilet pass

My DD is having issues with needing the toilet during school lessons. She’s trying her best to hold it in but that just makes it more awful for her when she finally goes.

She’s recently had bloods and stool samples and has been referred to the hospital but her appointment is in another 2 months.

Who do I speak to at the school about getting a toilet pass? Will I need a letter from my doctors saying she’s being referred for possible IBS?

Head of Year organizes them at our school.

Her teacher, head of year or school nurse. Hope she is ok.

At our school it is head of year/pastoral lead.

An email/phone call to explain the problem should suffice.

Some schools might ask for medical evidence, but see what they say first

Ok I’ll give her head of year a ring.
