hi - can anyone please advise which are the best feeder nurseries for The Hill School (Hampstead)?
I was told that Broadhurst Nursery is an obvious choice since they are more academically inclined than the average nursery, but the recent reviews of it have not been good

Do you mean hampstead hill? It's a non selective pre prep so no need for a feeder.

places that push them academically, so broadhurst, clowns, would both be good choices. you could go from hampstead hill too but they won't like you leaving before 7.

Hall is uber pushy though and you have to stay til common entrance - secondary schools have less places at 13 year on year. Are you sure that's where you want him to go? You won't be able to leave at 11, lots of the secondaries have a pact with the Hall and won't take a Hall boy to sit the 11+.

Hi, I will appreciate any advice on accepting a prep-prep offer at UCS over the Hall? will UCS trully prepare DS for the superselective london schools at 7+ i.e. WUS, SPJ? All pros and cons are welcome.

The hall won't prepare for the 7+ at all. Ucs will but mainly with a view to ucs Junior.

Thanks @waterbottle12. Thats quite a singnifcant point. Would you consider UCS to be academically at par with the Hall? for instance will the level of 7+ preparation generally be lower for their prep school compared to other superselective london day schools?
