Sackville School - Hildenborough

Hi - we are thinking about moving our Dyslexic son to Sackville School in Hildenborough to start in Year 7 and just wondered if anyone had any knowledge or opinions on the school? I have been and liked it, but don't know anyone who has a child at the school. Thanks

Hi I’m considering this for my daughter (year 7 start). I think it would be great for her as a dyslexic learner but I am worried about the social aspect as she is a sociable child (the fact that it is so small with so few girls concerns me). I would really appreciate any thoughts/experience on this. Thanks!

Hi there, please, anyone who has a child in Sackville school, my son is dyslexic and I am considering it for year 7 in September. I have already visited the school and I liked the support and the environment which was relaxed. I would really appreciate any thoughts/guidance.

We just wanted to share some positive feedback about Sackville School in Hildenborough, as our son has really thrived there.

He is high-functioning ASD, and the school has been fantastic at both stretching him academically and supporting him personally. It’s a mixed-ability school, and we’ve seen how well they support not only him but also his friends, which makes a real difference to the whole experience.

From the start, they really made him feel at home. The teachers are very supportive, and the family-like atmosphere has helped him settle in and enjoy school life.

As parents, we feel very happy with our choice and wanted to recommend the school to others who might be considering it.
