For the love of god, where can i find black cycle shorts in age 13-14 that aren't practically see through when my daughter bends down? Getting very annoyed with trutex, m&s, john lewis, matalan, sainsburys and tesco... Please give me some recommendations!!!

Dancewear shops.

BiscuitDrama · 26/03/2019 22:19

Does she just need a bigger size I wonder? We’ve never had a problem, but I can only remember where the last pair were from, decathlon.

Lonecatwithkitten · 26/03/2019 22:53

Dance shorts they are shorter, but nice and thick. Dance direct, dance mania and move dance wear all have them well priced.

Hersetta427 · 26/03/2019 23:03

Got ours from Asda

BillywigSting · 26/03/2019 23:05

Is she in women's sizes?

Perhaps try a size 8 or 10? and I second decathlon as being very good if you have one near you

GerryblewuptheER · 26/03/2019 23:05

Would a skort work?

Extra layer that way.

We had the navy cycling shorts from next. They do black too. Never found them see through

AuntieStella · 26/03/2019 23:11

Sports Direct have some

Decathlon will when they bring out the summer range (none on website at the moment)

If despairing, get Decathlon black running tights and just cut then shorter!

(I'm assuming you want tight exercise shorts of that length, not actual padded cycling shorts)

BiscuitDrama · 27/03/2019 07:02

Oh I should clarify, our decathlon ones are just like cotton leggings, but shorter. Not for actual cycling!

NikNakPaddyWack · 27/03/2019 08:18

Decathlon! Of course! Will try there tonight. (Slaps head for being stupid).

Will try dancewear shops if no luck there.

Thanks everyone.

Mine had Next ones and I've never noticed them being see through

SpoonBlender · 27/03/2019 12:54

Cycle shorts do come in non-padded versions, if all else fails.

My DD loves her Nike ones, I think I got them from Sports Direct but may have got them directly from Nike online.
