Sixth form offers with spiky results

Hi, my DD's preferred sixth form asks for 6 or more grades 6 and above in order to secure a place, including Maths and English.
She wants to do humanities and languages for Alevel, set to get two 9s, three 8s, two 7s, all great. Except that she only achieved a 4 in maths and science in her recent mocks. Given her other good results, do you think that her school would insist on a 6 for maths, and what would happen if she got a 5 not a 6?
Thanks!

Best person to ask is the 6th form themselves.

I know people for whom they were told they had to get 6 or more C and above and got 4 Cs and rest lower and were allowed to stay on, and others who got 5 A/A*s and a couple of Ds and weren't.

No one here can answer for the 6th form, which themselves may even depend on the year/pupil as to what they're happy to accept.
