Birmingham Grammar 2019 “offerees” and those on wait list.

I thought it would be nice in amongst all the London talk to have an area for those of us in Birmingham whose DC have either an offer of a Birmingham Grammar or are nervously biting their nails on wait lists following last Friday’s offer day.
My DS1 got an offer for Five Ways which is our local so I’m very happy, we had put BV down as our second choice and would have been happy with that also but the idea of cross city “commute” for a not very streetwise only just turned 11 year old did fill me with dread a little.

Congratulations JoshLyman! I’m not in your position - dd and ds in year 10 and 8 - but I remember the feeling! Although mine got other grammars and not FW, despite it being our nearest. I’m working on dd at the moment to try to persuade her to go there for sixth form!
