My 11 year old has expressed an interest in car maintenance. She's very academic and so I am keen for her to look at adding greater variety to her skills - she also does horse riding and lives that too. It's her birthday soon and I am including a Haynes Build an engine kit in her presents.
I'm looking at what's available locally but I think she would prefer something online to start with.
And no, I don't have an old banger that she can tinker with. My dh is even less mechanically minded than I am. And I'm not really very mechanically minded.
