Bursary home visit

Do they always do these? I am trying to assess likelihood that we are being considered for one. The offers out next week will include any bursary offer but we haven't heard anything back re home visit.

Also has anyone heard of home visit AFTER bursary offer made?

We've been through 4 private schools with bursaries in each of them. Only 2 came to do a home visit.
Good luck!

Which school are you referring to? London day or boarding? London day schools have sent offers on 15th and bursary offers usually come hand in hand.

our School does home visits for every application being considered.

We have been told next week offers will be made and any bursary will be included in offer. And not heard a peep from the bursar, no home visit or any questions. So we are beginning to lose hope of financial assistance. We have already provided all information requested, so our only hope is that bursar has no questions to ask and doesn't think a home visit will add anything

I knew a few days after my DS had sat the exam as the bursar sent me an email requesting for more info.

Did you have any news regarding the bursary?
