Hi,
we are torn between the above two options.
A new headteacher is starting in Sept 2019 in both St Martins and St Margarets which we are a bit nervous about as I know there can be quite a lot of distruption with headteacher changes.
Aldenham would be more conveinient but worried about them sharing a class together and the 'average' academic results... though results seem to be improving.
Does anyone have any recent experience with any of these schools? Any input would be most appreciated.
Thank you

Why not a co-Ed prep in the same area e.g. York House or Edge Grove? They could be in different classes but still at the same school. Aldenham and St Margaret’s are all through but St Martin’s isn’t so not sure if you’re trying to avoid the 11+?

Other all through girls are Royal Masonic, Northwood College and St Helen’s. if she was at either of the latter then I would put your son in St Martin’s and aim for somewhere like Merchant Taylor’s for next school.
