My 11 year old son is being bulled at school on a daily basis. I am ready to report this, but my son fears being labelled a 'snitch'. Today he was hit around the head and had the contents of his bag thrown out. Its getting worse. What should I do?

Please report it. Tell the school the concerns your son has about being labelled a snitch too. Any school serious about tackling bullying should be able to address this.

I think you have to say something to the school and make it absolutely clear that they need to deal with the situation in a way that doesn’t make things any worse for your son.
If he’s going to school worrying every day about what he’s going to face from these bullies, then his school work is going to suffer & his stress levels are going to go up!
The school should be able to reassure you that they can address the problem without your ds even needing to be involved in the process.
Good luck!
