Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the 11+ interview process of Bancroft's School. They state that the interview will be primarily academic. Any idea what this means?

It is possible to be an abstract theme talk or about politic, book, if be a ... what would you do; alternatively, some extra activities could be given like mental math.

My interview (TBF about a million years ago) was about an area of study I was interested in- history and reading for me. I had to demonstrate a genuine interest in learning, beyond the usual things you’d do at school. I was also expected to show a real desire to achieve- attempting to be the best was expected, not desirable!
That said, I got a very good education from the school and was fully supported when things were tough. I needed help on a Cambridge entrance form for post-grad study several years after I left school, Bancroft’s were very happy to offer guidance.
