Trouble at school

My daughter was put on a report card yesterday at school saying she had drawn an offensive photo to do with religon on her copy.
My d said to teacher she didn't do it but teacher said I have no proof that you didn't do it and its your copy your responsible to which this is true but the teacher has no proof either that she did do it.
As a parent I am really annoyed that my child is being accused of this and has to report to every teacher to get a card signed and signed by parent each night for something she didn't even do.
I have checked all her other copies and books and she has nothing on anything. I don't mind a telling off or on report if my daughter is responsible for doing any wrong but this is really annoying her and me.
The boy she thinks done it is harrassing my daughter about her dad been British and saying he shouldn't be in this country which 95% off their school are as school is in Northern Ireland and my daughter won't tell any teacher about this as she doesn't want to act childish but I do think this is a lot more serious that a drawing.

You’re annoyed that the school hasn’t done something about something which you consider serious but haven’t informed them about?

The 'proof' that your daughter did it is that it's in HER book, which presumably will be difficult for other children to access because it is in her possession.

Sometimes we just need to chalk things up to experience. Perhaps she might realise she needs to keep more control over her own belongings. Simple. Lesson learned and move on.

Totally agree with noblegiraffe on this one. Seems like you're twisting one issue that you're unhappy with into another issue entirely.
