Been to look around Haileybury and love it - does anyone have children there at the moment? Pastoral, sports, academics etc? All looks perfect to us but opinions of current parents always useful too.

We have an offer for next year. Hoping this thread fills up with lots of great insights!

We were very impressed with the facilities and staff attention to details. Attended twice and our child would like to try sit 11+ entrance exam.

Since posting this I've been put in contact with quite a few parents and pupils at Haileybury and they rave about it. Pupils all really happy, academic standards have been tightened up, monitoring and tutor systems great, they speak highly of the new-ish head and the extra curricular programme. They were a mix of girls, boys, some in the main school and others in the lower school. I've heard only positive things which is great :)

My DS also got an offer and would love to hear more about it. The tuition is on a higher side and not sure if it’s worth of it

My son has an offer for year 9 next Sept. We loved the school, but not sure if boarding is right for us as a family so unlikely to accept unfortunately. We thought it was more weekly boarding but as it turns out they have Saturday school which h doesn’t really work for us.

ah that's a shame. My son is going as a day pupil and doesn't mind Saturday school.
