Secondary schools

Im thinking of moving areas due to my
12 year old been very unhappy and not setting into the area ( rossendale)
He s very bright and hasn’t got any specialist needs
I’m
quite open to areas around the north.
At the moment I’m thinking of northern Manchester ( very unsure at the moment as I really don’t know the good areas) the ribble valley or maybe towards Rochdale.
Could anyone recommend any good secondary schools or alternative schools please I’m really struggling.

what about Wigan? Standish is a nice place, and it contains Standish Community High School (a large village there) has some of the the GCSE grades in wigan. link to their website.]]

That sounds great. Standish isn’t actually somewhere I’ve heard of but will definitely have a look. Thank you for the links and taking the time to post. Xx
