RGS High Wycombe Entrance Examinations

Hello everyone Smile

I was hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on the format of the entrance examinations for the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe which are due to take place on the 31st.

The school has opted to replace the 12+ with their own entrance exam. I was wondering if anyone here has a child who has taken the test, and might be able to guide me in tutoring my child. The only information given on the RGS website, and from themselves is that it is comprised of 2 40-minute exams. One is on maths and the other is on English. Both exams are multiple choice.

Any guidance would be much appreciated, this is a very stressful time for my son which is only worsened by the school's reluctance to provide a basic framework of topics!

Thanks so much,

Grace

Hi Grace
Did you ever get an answer to this question? Our son is writing the entrance exam for Y10, and I'd love some insight into how the papers are structured to help him prepare.
All the best,
JP
