Merchant Taylors' Northwood 11+ Exams

Hi,

My son will be sitting the MT tests in January and one of the papers is a 'General paper'. Does anyone know what this is and what it involves? The tutor is baffled, I think it's a new test and we are unsure of what kind of questions it will be about?

Has anyone had their child sit this type of an exam for a private school?

It’s questions about situations and how your child would react to them. Not 100% sure but think there’s some moral/ethical dimension. It’s one of those where there’s no right or wrong answer, it’s about how your DS explains and supports their opinion.

ahh a few schools are introducing tests like this as they can't be tutored for it really I suppose
