What are the entry requirements to get into Marlborough College for 6th Form please? Is it a very academic school?

Look at the school website. If not stated there you would need to contact the school. My DS attends a similar school at they need to get a minimum of 36 points across 6 strongest GCSE’s, e.g a minimum of six Grade 6 or above.

Does it not say in the prospectus on the website?
You might get more knowledgable answers by posting with the name of the college in the title.

There are entrance exams and interviews
Entrance exams in separate sciences depending on what your a level choices are. I think that there are general humanities essays but not certain
Also a verbal reasoning test
I think prospectus says 6 b's but does note that most entrants get considerably higher results than these
It's based on entrance exams, reference from school and interviews not on gcse results
As to it being academic, it is not the boarding school with the best A level results but I think that your child will be supported well to do the best they can at A level. The teachers very available to help with problems with academic work throughout the A level years as you would expect in a full boarding school
I think oxbridge entrance is solid
These schools have a smaller pool of talent available as not everyone can afford them and not everyone wants to do full boarding
