best online history GCSE tutor or on-mumsnet history advice please!

Thank you to those who replied to my previous thread and recommended Mr Bruff and Mr Salles for English. DS is starting to catch up! (even understands that sometimes "show" is the best word to use.... revolution!)

The other essay subject he has is also where he is underperforming is history. He showed us his history essay and the syllabus seems incredibly legalistic..... very interesting! We want to figure out how he can improve.

Any help welcome (he's in year 11 so now's his moment....)

DH is a professor of history so our challenge is to grasp what the syllabus is IYSWIM. History could be done in so many ways....

Have you looked at the specifications and mark scheme for whichever board he is doing. They are available online.

Meant to say this should assist dh to see what they are after.

It's a question of helping without the whole thing becoming too intense.

Which exam board is it for? There are lots of video tutorials online.
