Planner recommendation

Due to school not giving out any kind of diary/planner and the homework app proving to be an utter pain in the back side, what do your kids use?

And if you bought one what one did you get...

Does your child want or would use a physical planner? My DC do have a physical planner (and no school provided on-line one) but it is very lightly used.

If the actual homework app is rubbish, why not a better online planner?

She does write stuff down in a note book so I think she would use it.

They can only use their phones at certain times and places so it would be easier for her to check a book than a tempremental app between classes.

Plus I also have another child who needs to use ipad/computer sometimes so it's not always available for her use instantly to check on the desktop site when the app is crashing
