Dorset Prep Schools

I'm trying to decide between Castle Court and Dumpton for my son to go in year 7 and 8. I don't know anyone who has children there, so am looking for some honest opinions about either school. My gut feeling was to go for Castle Court but I've just learnt that the headmaster has left- again does anyone have any thoughts about this?

Our DC have both started Castle Court this year - they have already made friends and are very happy. From what I can see the school has not skipped a beat with the new headmaster - it is a very smooth operation. Compared to our old school it is night and day - I keep pinching myself to see if it is real!

No direct experience of either school, but have seen that Dumpton have recently advertised for a new head to begin in Sept 2019.

Both great schools so I would go with your gut feeling. I know families at both and all very happy with them.
