Anyone else waiting for the outcome of the Camden musical aptitude test?

DD did the test last week so just waiting to hear if she's got through to the next stage. No idea how she fared because she hasn't every done anything like it before (but has a good ear). Website said we'd be notified on or before 5th October so really hoping we hear today. She and I both really liked the school but appreciate that competition for the music places is super fierce.

My friend is waiting to hear about her DD. Have you heard yet?

Yes, we heard at the end of yesterday and she’s through to the next round, which she’s really pleased about. But it’s 50 auditions for 5 places so tough odds! How did your friend’s DD get on?

No, I’m afraid she didn’t get through. It wasn’t unexpected, she’d not been trained for it, rather an added possibility in case she doesn’t get in on banding.

Ah ok, sorry to hear that but great that she has a chance on banding (we haven’t a hope in hell on the front!) Thanks for the good wishes 🙂
