Just wondered how your DDs found today's second stage Nonsuch and Wallington exam?
Did they finish the maths? Was the English only the one writing piece?

My daughter did it two years ago. She found the maths pretty hard - long, wordy maths problems. The English was just one piece - creative writing - she was fine with that and pleased with what she’d done. I think the maths is typically quite gruelling on second stage - but to be fair we had (genuinely) done little prep as we weren’t that serious about the school as live miles away so maybe with more prep she may have found it easier

Hope all late sitters have sat the test by now. Has anyone got any feedback from their DD about the stage 2 test? My DD found the maths hard and did not know how to tackle 2 questions. She can't recall what the questions were. Been wiped from her memory!

My daughter couldn't finish the maths by quite a few questions, it sounds. But enjoyed the English as it's her thing. We've had the results now as presume you have and she passed. At home when we've practised I've found DD slow but accurate so I guess what she did manage int the maths she got right enabling her to get through.
