Dd is currently in Y11 at an academically selective independent. She’s doing very well academically but has struggled with the social side - she is quite introverted and the school environment makes her very anxious. She’s adamant she’s not staying there for sixth form.

I’m not convinced that she’s going to find any other school any easier but have said we’ll help her look at alternatives.

At the moment she’s hoping to be an equine vet and is planning to do Biology and Chemistry A-levels with the third one tbc. She’s on target to get high grades across the board at GCSE.

We’re going to some open evenings in the next couple of weeks - Graveney, Chestnut Grove, Burntwood. Any others we should be looking for within easy commute of Tooting?

St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College may be worth a look - it's near Clapham South

Harris Westminster Sixth Form is worth a look if she doesn't mind commuting into Central London (or having Saturday morning lessons!)
