Northampton School for Boys - anyone know it?

It has a great reputation and results. We live 20 miles away and wondering whether to apply. Anyone know what it is really like?

It does, a couple of our friends sons go there. However 20 miles is a long way. Both of my DD travel 12 miles to school each day and that is the absolute max unless you can do it in under 45 mins.

Not sure which direction you are from Northampton - but have you considered Lawrence Sheriff in Rugby?

We are considering it and we’re 13 miles away. I’ve only heard good things from current parents but DS thinks he’d prefer a mixed school so not sure if we will put it down.
