Class move?

DS has been placed in the class of a teacher who picked on my older DD. The issue with my DD was never resolved as said teacher went on maternity leave & my DD moved on to sixth form but I'm really not happy with my DS being in that class. Is it unreasonable to want him moved? I don't want her to destroy his confidence as well.

Is this a set subject or mixed ability, or tutor?

I'd maybe wait and see and only if there are issues then raise. But I guess it depends on what the issues were before and how acrimonious it all got, and to what extent it was personality clash, and how long ago it was.

It's a set subject & occurred two years ago. I wouldn't say it was acrimonious but it was never really dealt with because DD moved on. I would say the teacher's behaviour was borderline bullying & I feel concerned as all my DC are very quiet.

It was a couple of years ago and with a different child. I’d not say anything until there are problems - different children can have very different experiences with the same teacher.
