Considering sending my 3 girls aged 14, 12 and 11 to King Edwards School in Southampton. Seeking feedback on the - academics - support if struggling with a subject - social aspects - friendliness - bullying policy etc.

Its the only selective private school in the area.
Kids come in from far and wide.
They seem pretty well adjusted
A level options are much narrower than the colleges of course.

Your free option with all girls is St Annes (which is about as strictly catholic as I am)
Or any of the Hampshire comps depending where you live

I am aware of children being made to do the A level subjects that would get the best grades, not what the children (or even parents) wanted to study. I understand this methodology to some extent (no-one wants to see a child fail) but some of the stories I've heard did concern me.
