Is it 6 and above?

What makes you think they are? I can't see why they would?

(I think some can attract UCAS points in certain situations though?)

P3onyPenny · 23/08/2018 09:44

Don't some grades get the same ucas points as the old C?

Happy to be proved wrong but if not which are they?

You can get Ucas points for grade 6 and above on a rising scale for type of pass and grade.

UCAS points are only useful for a course that asks for points. If they ask for A levels, points from music are not counted. DD had theory grade 6. Two singing exams at grade 8.

Grade 5 Practical Music plus Grade 5 Theory are often required as an alternative to GCSE Music for progression to A level Music or Music Theory...

A level Music Technology!

And lots of unis accept grades for music degree instead of A level music.

Grade 5 exams are supposed to need the same amount of work as a GCSE, Grade 6 and up are Level 3 exams so get the UCAS points.
