Which magazines do your KS3/GCSE students/dcs enjoy?

The dcs are somewhat bored of The Week Junior which is too young for them so I've got them a subscription to the adult version. But this got me thinking about my school days - I used to get a few magazines that were (vaguely) linked to the curriculum and I really used to enjoy them. Do these sort of magazines exist any more? If so can you share the names with me so that I can see with the dcs if they'd be interested in a couple of subscriptions. I love seeing them lying in a sofa with a magazine rather than an iPad occasionally Grin.

DS (14) assures me that only old people read magazines.
I'm not sure the sort of thing you are looking for really will be read by that age group. With the internet on tap, they have so much access to information, there isn't the same need. DS actually does read a lot of current affairs stuff, but it's from a variety of sources.

We currently get:
Beano for 12 DS - he still loves it
Allons-y - french KS3 mag for 11 DD as she loves languages

DS (13) reads XBox & Top Gear. Sometimes i buy him a How Stuff Works magazine.

DD (16) doesn't really bothers with them though she'll flick through old copies at the hairdressers. Occasionally DH will buy her a Spanish fashion magazine to help with her studies.
