All the information we had before they broke up was that results must be collected in person by the student, if not collected they will go into their pigeon hole for collection in September. In exceptional circumstances the student could authorise someone else to collect but a letter of authority needed to be with the exams office before they broke up.
I've stupidly booked tickets that mean DS can't be there for the allotted AS slot (11am-12pm). All my fault, I got the date muddled.
However, he could be there at 9am when they will be giving out A level results (9am-11am).
He could just wait until he's back in school, but he has re-enrollment for sixth form on 31 Aug and TBH, it's going to borderline which subjects he can continue with. I'd like to be able to have a conversation with him and he'd like to know his results ahead of his re-admission meeting.
Obviously, there's no-one in school ATM to talk to or respond to an email.
If he goes in at 9am what are his chances of getting his results (I don;t know the process) and how cross are they likely to be?
If we forfeit the tickets it's £140 so I'd prefer not to.
