Kirkham Grammar School

Hi, does anyone have any insights/ information on Kirkham Grammar School please?

We are considering it for DS who if just about to finish year 4 in an outstanding state school.

Is it very hard to get into? There’s not a lot of choice around here, so is there a lot of competition?

It was a lovely school back in the 80s/90s. Not sure if that's any help!

People are leaving in droves, very low standards (not enough equipment for all children in year 6), terrible communication and a car park from hell. Shocking for an independent school.
