Heathside High

Anyone know anything about Heathside secondary school in Hampstead? I'm thinking of sending DS to Heathside primary, and the fact it will now be going all the way through to 18 is very attractive.

However I'd like to find out from anyone in the know what the school is looking like... What kind of ethos, how are the teachers, pastoral care that kind of thing. Am i right that it opened in 2016? Would love to hear from anyone with experience of the school (primary or secondary)....

My son goes to HS, though he is in the Lower school. He is extremely happy. The teachers are good. My son loves chess so it's the right school for him.

Not sure I'd send a child there now. In a few years maybe if when they've sorted themselves out.

Ofsted always rated HS as outstanding as far as teaching is concerned. A safety issue was raised but in the latest Ofsted report the issue was cleared. Each school is different; each child is different. Every parent makes her own choice. For us and our child the school is fantastic.
