Does anyone have any experience of distance learning A level companies.
My son wants to do Maths and History A levels but they are in the same option block at both local sixth forms. School are going to let him do 2 A levels with them and one distance learning one in his study periods.
The one we are looking at it Ancient history with Oxford Open learning

How is his maths? - would you consider doing history at VIth form/college and maths externally. Also, would the VIth form help with this choice?

DS1 has just finished History A-level and he found the group discussions in class really useful. Do some distance learning courses offer something similar, e.g. by Skype?

School have said they will support him as well in studying the history. He thinks he will need more teacher support for maths which is why he’s thinking of distance learning for history.
I just wondered if anyone knew which companies had the best reputation.
