You need to make an appointment with the principle of the college, or the head of maths / exams officer.
Take the emails and ask them what are they going to do?
Has she got a final paper to sit? If so then she should sit it even though it is the wrong board.
She will know how to do a lot of it, but she needs to stay calm.
She WILL ontain a qualification in maths from these exams, it may not be what she should get but she will have something.
AQA have done November resits in past years and I don't think that will change this year so college should be contacting AQA and sorting out an entry for that.
They can probably enter her for a functional skills qualification.
What does she need for her new course? Sorry to sound a bit flippant but if she is intending to do A Level maths then this is more serious, if it is another course that requires 'just' 5 GCSEs including English and maths then it may not be a total disaster.
Give her a hug and tell her how well she has done under the circumstances.
