just browsing and saw discussion about Bol Academy. DS in Y10. OK school. Would I recommend? Yes and no. Inexperienced staff team tends to lead to overly strict approach to behaviour management - not saying consistency isn't vital but.. can human beings be really consistent? If your child is compliant or at least cynical enough to play the game, this could be the school for you. Conversely, if your child might speak when not spoken to, speak in the corridors or "lose focus" (whatever that means) this may not be the school for you. If you don't like free schools/academies then this might be a problem in Wandsworth. I would say it's a work in progress, the middle class love it for the piping and expensive trips the plebs can't afford, the catchment area of Belleville and Honeywell and pinch their noses at the rest of us and our spawn
