Hello, I am about to fill in the application form for a possible place at Newstead Year 7 2019. It notes: If you wish to apply for a place in Year 7 at Newstead Wood School for this student, a completed Common Application Form (CAF), available from your daughter’s primary school or your Local Authority, MUST be sent to your Local Authority by its closing date.

I googled where I can download this CAF form from the Bromley.gov.uk website but cannot locate this. Can someone please be so kind to point me in the right direction? Thank you.

If you go to the elevenplusexams website, go to the forums, there is a section on Bexley/Bromley schools with all the info on Newstead Woods.

Do you mean starting year 7 next year?

It's too early to put in your application form if so. The CAF would need to be completed in Autumn - usually between Sept 1-Oct 31. You do need to fill in the school's own supplementary form - the SIF - and hand it in to the school between 4th and 29 June -

If you are looking for a space for this September, contact the school.

The CAF is done electronically- in the pan London area it is via eadmissions. Look at your local council or county booklet about secondary applications and it will have the link.

DD is at NW in Y8 and loving it so if you have specific questions about the school, do just ask here or via pm.
