Hi I just wondered if anyone had any feedback/experience of Radnor House? I am considering it for DD and have previously heard mixed reviews but did not want to discount it. Also St Catherines Twickenham - any thoughts/opinions much appreciated - Thank you!

My DD is at St Caths and is thriving academically. Small classes really work for her, and she seems to have really good relationships with the teachers. Its a lovely school - they've built up my DD confidence particularly in maths.

It is small, and heavily into music. There aren't a lot of B teams for sports but there are a tonne of afterschool clubs and they encourage participation. The current head - Sr Paula is leaving, but the new head seems good and has been spending time at the school for the last few months to get to know everyone prior to taking over in Sept.

Radnor is a superb school - full of very enthusiastic teachers, my DS is thriving there. Very caring, great (small) school overall.

Definitely ignore the recent google reviews on Radnor - Pm me for more info happy to chat offline.

Beany75, I have 2 children at Radnor. Both academic and both doing really well. Radnor achieves a balance of stretching and challenging their brightest students whilst keeping an eye on mental wellbeing. The children there are happy, well adjusted young people with teachers that genuinely care. It has a mixed intake so results do not really reflect its strengths but I can assure you that children do thrive there and those that are academic will achieve those 8s and 9s. Every child is nurtured to achieve their best potential. It's a unique place in my opinion.
I hope that helps.
