Time out for a family holiday

Hi everyone need your help should I or should I not take my 14yr old and 12yr old out of school for a family holiday we have not had a holiday this year and my mum has offered to pay for us to got to the algarve for a week with her and my dad wich I could not afford to take the kids there on my own
So should I or not

What do your kids Think? My kids hating missing school once they were in secondary, especially years 9 onwards. I suggested missing one day once (added on to a half term holiday) and neither of them wanted to do that at all.

My kids wouldn’t miss school for a holiday.

They wouldn’t let me take them out of school.

Wouldn’t hesitate - special time to spend with your parents.
